GPU Dilemma

mr. mari0o

I have 1100 on hand for my new GPU set up. My options are between the gtx 780 and 780ti

- Asus Gtx780 DCUii sli will run me 1080$ right now on amazon

- EVGA GTX 780ti sli will run 1500$+

My Question: are sli 780ti performance over Asus gtx 780 sli really worth an extra 500$???

- I'm gaming at 1080p with a 144hz monitor and trying to max out my FPS on all my current and new games.

That question is retarded or uncomplete. Its not worth it if you live in poverty, and its worth it if your some rich billionaire.

Well, you cant max out every game and get 144 fps but a lot of the games are good. For example you cant even get 144fps in Crysis 3 with dual 780ti :D But with a 780ti you get >60fps all of the time in every single game so id go that way, and if your not satisfied just get another one...

Get a single 780 Ti because 2 would be unnecessary for just one 144Hz monitor. It's not like you can't upgrade, so might as well get what you need now.

Well 780ti SLI is beast, it wont max out games at 120+ fps, you would need SLI 780ti for that job.
