Corsair SP120 RGB vs NZXT Aer RGB (Appearance question)

Zangashtu

Hi all,

So shortly i'm getting an NZXT Kraken x52, the radiator will be installed at the top of my case and will be in a push config (fans at the bottom)
So in the pursuit of aesthetics and lighting, im torn between the NZXT aers and the Corsair SP120 RGBs (these are the ones with the controller not done through software)
My main worry is between the two I prefer the look of the Corsairs but I am really worried that they are bright, and I mean really bright, looking at images online and on PCpartpicker they look like they'll just swamp every other light source I have in there including the new bloody cooler, my worry about the Aers is that they're not bright enough and wont even be visible.
Does anyone have these Corsairs i'm on about and can share photos or opinions on what they think of the brightness?

Many thanks

I don't know about the Corsair's, sorry. But the Aer RGB fans are not static pressure optimised so they are not suited for a radiator like the Aer P's are. Also you will need a spare USB 2.0 header on your motherboard to accommodate the NZXT Hue that is used to control the Aer RGB.

Well actually the Aers are only 1.35mm-H2O and the Corsairs are 1.45 mmH20 so I wouldn't say they "weren't optimized" they'll still do the job and I am aware I already have a HUE hence why im debating between the two

If you want a little sneak peak, here is my build with three sp120 rgb on top and back of my case.  I have a HUE+ for the led strips around the case, plus the motherboard IO, kraken x62 for cooler and 4 rgb gskill ram.

Honestly I find them really good looking, in my situation as you can see it's the hue+ strips that make the big color change. Otherwise, they look awesome and they are not too bright.

You sir are a god send,  thank you for the photo.
How do you find them without the HUE+ on?
