I need to buy a new laptop and have been given a budget of £375 (UK). Does anyone have any recommendations? My main criteria is a 15.6 inch screen, at least 8GB RAM and Windows 10. The processor needs to also be at least 2GHz. The laptop needs to be powerful enough to run Python code and also Minecraft modded (yes, I play Minecraft). Thanks in advance!

Edit: The laptop should be new (not refurbished or used etc). If you provide links, please make them UK links. Thanks!

tall order, why new?

I had a refurbished one; it broke within a couple of months and I don't want to risk it again. I also need it to last a few years, and many used ones do not come with Windows 10, and because of the budget, I cannot afford to buy a Windows 10 license.

thinkpads are high quality office laptops, i7 3rd or 2nd gen are still relevant in terms of power, a thinkpad will easily last you 3 to 4 years.

While looking, I've found many laptops that meet my requirements in the price range, most are on offer at the moment!
