Why? There are millions of other sites you can buy from in UK.

You are going to get the best performance by building it yourself via pcpartpicker. Just post a topic with price range and I'm sure everyone on this website will be more than willing to help you.

Unsure what power supply to pick?

Check out my HTPC build.

DIY it through PCPartPicker, that site makes horrible overpriced computers. If only NCIX UK existed...

Yeah... here's a word of advice, I would build a PC instead of getting the parts individually instead of having PCSpecialist assemble it for you.

Why you may ask? Well...,

Spoiler

I purchased my PC from them a few years back (.. not mentioning which specific year) and I had no clue about PC Building back then but now... I know WAY more than I did back then and I regret it sometimes, wishing that I got built one from scratch instead, primarily because yes, PCSpecialist do charge a bit extra when really, it could be spent on something better, lol :P

As others have similarly said, it's better to build it yourself to get better value/quality, really.

Used the link you provided to create a system. Personally I think it's a ripoff, the cases cost a fortune for anything decent and you don't know the brand/specs of a lot of the parts. Like the RX480, it doesn't tell you what brand it is or model. For motherboard you only have asus as a choice and for standard storage drive, the 1TB "Standard" drive has a 32mb cache, in comparison a standard WD Blue 1TB has 64mb cache; we don't know the brand of the HDD so I assume they are probably using something cheap. Anyway this isn't the cheapest option but just a random build I put together to see what the prices were like, the total was £1,065.00.

https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am4-pc/wwbAt0pVg3/

I also put together a similar build using pcpartpicker, went with a MSI RX480 armor(not the best but we have no idea what the site above is using), a WD Blue 1TB, Bitfenix Nova windowed case, went with a cheaper but good PSU, the site above doesn't give you much options, the total was £806.93, that's about £260 difference in price.

It's weird. The low end on the site is gouging AF but when you look at the ultrawide gaming aio they have an extremely reasonable price...  Just insane

I did a R5 1600 build just to see, right now I think it's the best price to performance chip on the market, if you are doing pure gaming than a 7700k is better but the R5 imo is better than i5, again in terms of price/performance.

The point people are making is don't buy it from them, bad value. Build it yourself. Spend time on Forum and we will help you with every question you have.

@MariusNinja, we're just trying to get you the best value :) Honestly, it will be potentially cheaper, you'll have more options and you'll have us here to help you out with any type of issues/concerns!

Don't make the same mistake I did which I heavily regret (sometimes) which was/is, having it built by PCSpecialist or someone similar to them in the UK.

i have a question about operating systems if i buy a new pc and install windows 7 would the performance be different if i had windows 10

Slightly, yes, it depends what you mean specifically.

EDIT: If you mean if there's any improve when e.g... Gaming, then yes there's a slight increase in performance.

Did an Intel build too using the 7700k and GTX1060 6GB, this time I tried to use identical parts as much as possible, so even though there are better parts for each category with better price. On pcspecialist, I tried to use the cheapest option available to cut down on price. The pcspecialist build ended up costing £1,333.00.

https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/intel-z270-pc/mkx9beSxTw/

again as with the Intel build, we don't know the brand name of some of the parts like the HDD, for GPU it says either pelit or zotac but doesn't say which, for pcpartpicker I went with the Zotac mini and WD Blue again. The total came up to £1059.34, a £270 difference. As mentioned above, I tried to use identical parts but if I picked different brands, could probably get it down another £100-150.
