Pc is being weird

Okay so this happens to me a lot and I really want to know what I can do to fix it. The problem is that during an h1z1 game or any type of game, doesn't matter, i will go from 80 fps to 15 then back to 80 fps after like 10 seconds of it being 15 fps. No clue why it does this I recently reset my computer twice and it never did it before that. It started doing the fps dropping about 3 weeks ago and i reset my computer about 4 weeks ago. Anyone help please

Rx 480 8 gb

fx 8350

8 gb of ddr 3 ram

TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 Hard drive

H1z1 mostly, i usually play a lot of PUBG, h1z1, and rust. it does it for all the games 

Yes,  i know they are all in beta pretty much but it never did it before ive had my pc around 2 years.

what are the other games you refer to? as H1Z1 is in early access and known to run like crap on even a top end pc. also early access games are renound for breaking stuff with updates.

If you run lots of stuff in the background, it could be Windows dipping into the paging file.

It could also be temps.

How would you get rid of temps? Also I'm not a huge computer person so what does windows dipping into the paging file mean? I know a lot about graphics cards and parts and stuff just not anything really about windows.
