all games crash at startup

all games (dark souls 3, metro 2033,metro 2033 redux, metro last light redux, just cause 3)crash at start

tha games open at the resolution set (by me) most of them in windowed mode,nothing gets to show up they just open at the right size but everything is White and a mesage pops up

(insert game here) has stopped working

my nvidia and Intel drivers are up to date and i have tried disabling my anti virus and runing as administrator

all games worked previeously

Previously as in "yesterday" or previously a long time ago?

Did any updates or something install between "previously" and now?

its likely a background program causing this. I had this issue with BF1 recently that after troubleshooting was caused by Rivatuner for my OSD with MSI Afterburner. Check any program that you use that has On Screen Display available for you and see if they are the source.

as like two days ago and yesterday it started happening

no i dont have anything new, i have just forcestopped all backround apps and still nothing

And you restarted your PC?

How was your OS installed?

yes multiple times and my pc dualboots Windows and Linux but that has been like this for ages and it seems unrelated,windows is installed in a separate ssd

the error mesage is different though

a bunch of adres=0x...... errors

oh something i have just thought of i had just removed my second monitor before the problem started but i have just pluged it back and nothing different is hapening
