Posted April 16, 2017 I really don't see any reason to buy 3733 MHz ram, as it's a complete waste... Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples: Do this: Quote And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor! Or this: @DocSwag Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market. Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me! I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that. Posted April 16, 2017 The cheaper option is the better one the faster speed ram doesn't really have enough performance benefit to justify the price tag. Didn't even know they did 3733 now, back in my days (a year ago) 3200 was the maximum they did. Posted April 16, 2017 What's the model number for the RAM? I'm sure there's a compromise for both sides, getting 16GB 3200MHZ instead or so. Jumping from 2133 MHz to 2933 can make as much as a 10% difference. Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Posted April 16, 2017 Faster RAM can make a good difference in many simulations that require physics like BF, KSP, etc. I would vote for the 3000MHz, but can you find a 16GB that's a bit faster? And will you be using a Z-board or Ryzen?
