Honestly, for 1080 Gaming wise, the 8GB version is better as it allows you to hit 60fps even on newer games without turning much settings down.

But the disparity between the 4GB version and the 8GB version is actually quite noticeable, but more apparent if you downgrade.

 

The RX 480 4GB version would be fine for you and help you save a couple of bucks.

Add another 8GB of RAM and get at least a 250GB SSD.
