Gif files on phones

I can download gifs but I can't upload. Even on websites that say gifs are allowed. Wot up wit Dat? I can see the gif as a gif in my photoes

Can you verify they're really .gif files and not actually .mp4. A lot of websites fake them by making them .mp4 but calling them .gif. Check it in your phone's file manager.

That image is almost 2 MB. Some websites don't allow images so big in size (as avatars, logos etc). May be a simple file size limitation.
