r5 1500x is overclockable... it is worth it over a i5-7500? if it is, what motherboard should i get if i am going for a 1060 3gb and on a budget of US$800

Of course it is worth it. It maybe cheaper but it HAS more threads. It is basically a i7-5775C or whatever the boardwell i7 was.

Go for a B350 motherboard. Tell me which colour and I will give you a recommendation.

i dont mind the colour but a black red would go great with the amd/ryren theme. might even go woth the red case then

changed it to all AMD: more power tho...RX 470 is slightly better while being cheaper ($20)

Yes...cheapest are $70-80 but they dont have heatspreaders on VRMs (bad for overclocking) and only 2 slot for RAM and stuff

Why not and also check reviews......I always do that too..take help here and then reviews...one or two would be fine..just to confirm and stuff

im not sure but there is a chance.. or would it be better to upgrade to a gtx 1070 and sell this one or get the rx500 series if it comes out?

crossfire or sli always has some problems cause not all games support it....but i would crossfire because i like multi card systems.....and yes a gtx 1070 a vega 10 card would be better.

actually... i will wait... i dont think i should make these decisions now and i should wait for more updates on the ryzen platform and prices to slowly drop as i am not going to buy this stuff now anyway. thanks for your help anyway

Well ryzen is a new platform and it has a buggy start...if u anit buying now..best thing is definitely to wait. And just a IFY..Intel is need if your are gaming on 165hz or above.
