Hey,

I dont like to restart my pc... I know i should do it and right now it have been going for 624 hours and i was wondering is there some sort of way to clear the cpu cache and clean up the ram (Like flushing it?)

I know linux would suit me better (Since it almost never needs a reboot) but i cant use linux because i play games and i am not willing to not play many of my games.

So any way i can flush l1 l2 etc cache and the ram? Not worried about my gpu since it has 4 gb of vram

Legitimately, why don't you like to restart your PC? It takes a matter of minutes - go and grab a drink, go to the bathroom etc whilst it restarting? Or just turn it off every night?

Hate to turn it on agian.... i know a restart is the best but i hate it....

Dude, after working in IT support for way too long - restart your PC. The longer your Tech (even phones) stay turned on, the more likely they are to start derping around. There is no good reason to not restart your PC every now and then. Maybe not daily, but I've seen PCs f***ing up after a week of not being turned off properly

75% of what I say is sarcastic

So is the rest probably

I just did a little searching and this came up. Don't know if it works as I turn my PCs off every night and restart reasonably regularly but hopefully that might work :)

Tried it and it did not work at all...

I google everything before i ask on linustechtips
