CPU overheating

Hey! I just completed my new Ryzen build featuring the Ryzen 7 1700X but the CPU keeps overheating at stock speed(3.4Ghz) I'm using an AiO(Cooler Master Masterliquid lite 120) but it keeps overheating understand synthetic load the max it hit was 85°C and while Gaming it stays at 80°C please help...

Did you overclock it? Check the thermal paste on the cooler. Check the fan speed for your AiO using Speedfan or in BIOS and increase it if needed. I don't think it should run this got unless overclocked or there is an issue with your AiO.

No I have not overclocked my CPU... and the fans are running at Max.RPM all the time

Did you use third party thermal paste or whatever came preapplied with the AiO?

I used thermal paste which came with my AiO

Try using third party thermal paste as it is almost always better than whatever comes with coolers:

There's a +20 degree offset  on 8 core X chips. Your real temperature is 65.

 

Blame AMD for this. They coded it this way so that fan curves are similar between X and non X chips.
