So I have found a stuck pixel (tiny blue dot when the screen is black) on the bottom left of my screen and I was told that you didn't have to RMA it as it can be solved with software and/or hardware programs that overstress the area to force it. Has anyone here had an experience with a stuck pixel and found a way to fix it?

Free online tool that you can try to use: http://www.jscreenfix.com/

Instructions and more are on the website; if that doesn't work you might need to leave it on for longer, or the pixel may just be permanently stuck.

Want to know which mobo to get?

Spoiler

Choose whatever you need. Any more, you're wasting your money. Any less, and you don't get the features you need.

Only you know what you need to do with your computer, so nobody's really qualified to answer this question except for you.

Re- installing windows or updating windows and your graphics card drivers might help.  Good Luck.

How is windows related to a stuck pixel?
