Hello, I'm planning on building my first rig this summer and i wonder what your opinion is, Im planning on overclocking the CPU and RAM, Also to add another RX 480 later this year on black friday, here is the list on pcpartpicker(there's no CPU cuz ryzen 5 hasn't been released yet) : https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HwtxCy

I dont have a super large budget and yes, i know some parts are more pricey than they should be for aesthetics and i could get a cheaper motherboard/cpu cooler but i want to have steady temps when overclocking and the option to upgrade later. Im planning on using it for games like Overwatch, Starcraft II and perhaps some video editing in the future.

Why don't get B350 mobo?

Get 8GBX2 RAM for future proof
Other parts are fine.

Don't forget about a fan controller :D.

EDIT:

Also memory wise is kinda iffy with the Ryzen systems, you might wanna wait till benchmarks roll out before deciding what RAM to buy.

Currently 14 14 14 34 CAS is the best speed with 3200MHZ G.Skill Ram for Ryzen 7 systems.

Why get a expensive board? Get a cheaper board and the RX 480 8GB.

Yeah i was thinking about getting the g.skill tridentz black/white but isn't it possible to overclock the ballistix to atleast 3200mhz?

Get 3200MHz or higher RAM to get good performance from Ryzen as of now 3200MHz is stable with Ryzen if you use the Gskill on specifically made for Ryzen. There is a huge difference from lower RAM speed and 3200MHZ and above speeds.

do you need to spend so much on a motherboard? you won't be using any extra features on the aorus x370 and the asrock board would be cheaper. the ssd only performed slightly slower than the 850 evo for less and matches your color scheme well.

Board is for aesthetics as i said.

There are a load of good looking boards for cheaper. Absolutely not worth losing 4GB of video memory for.
