cpu temps

i have a i5 6600k OCed to 4.4 or 4.5 at 1.35 volts on a 120 mm AIO watercooler  and my cpu temps seem to be a little weird. when i am doing nothing it sits around 28 c but when i watch a stream it goes up to 33 and jumps up to 44 and than goes back down instantly. but if it is under gaming load like in DOOM it stays around low 60s to mid 60s and very stable. the low "idle" temps seem odd and i dont know if it is the cooler or a feature of the 6600k, i am pretty new to the PC  scene

Nah its all good. Mine does it too when I'm doing light work. When I game it gets in the low to mid 60s if that.

i5 6600k @ 4.4ghz on Hyper 212 Evo

Powercolor RX 480 8Gb Red Devil @1330Mhz

Bottom line:  Don't be a spaz or an 800lb gorilla when installing your expensive CPU, and you won't have any problems. --Phate.exe

It's completely normal. My CPU jumps around 40-55 when browsing internet.

Newer cip idle around  800mhz, so they use somethinh like 3w of power, when you do something, even stuff really light, they jump to boost clock speed  ( in your case, 4.5ghz), and they consume 100+ watt, even if for a split second, so its normal to see those temp jumps
