External GPU Enclosure

I've been looking for an external gpu enclosure to get my brother for his birthday, seeing as he wants more power but a new computer isn't exactly a viable option. The laptop he has is here, https://www.amazon.com/F556UA-AS54-15-6-inch-Full-HD-Laptop-Windows/dp/B01M08DL26?th=1 , and he is extremely insistent not wanting to change but wanting more power. Does anyone have any recommendations for external GPU enclosures that could work? Thanks for your time and sorry if this is the wrong category =P

You can't add a external gpu to this laptop.

As far as I can tell, that laptop doesn't have a Thunderbolt 3 connector. The Type-C port is only USB and you need thunderbolt for an rGPU setup. Sorry

yeah, unless the laptop has thunderbolt you can't run a gpu enclosure with it, as it needs the extra functionality that thunderbolt offers over usb type-c
