hey all!

first off, sorry for shitty english..

i am currently rocking this setup:

Intel Core I5 3570k - Coolermaster Seidon 120XL

Asrock Z77E-ITX

EVGA GTX 770 Superclocked ACX

Kingston HyperX 16gb 1600 MHz

XFX core PRO550W

Bitfenix Prodigy

Samsung 840 250gb SSD

Kingston V300 120gb SSD

2tb HDD

and for some time now i have been saving and wanting to do an upgrade.

i have always been very interested in custom watercooling, but never had the guts or money to try it out. This i want to change!
My plans for upgrade are as follows:

change gpu to 1080 (havent decided which yet)

change case to Phanteks Enthoo Evol Itx in white.

I really want to make an all white/black build, with black fittings, clear tubing and white liquid. i want to make it as clean and esthetically pleasing as possible.

some questions:

if i want to go custom watercooling, should i just get the cheapest 1080 and throw on a waterblock? or should i still go for a decent 1080?

Should i upgrade my 3570k and mobo too, to reduce bottlenecking, or can it still do enough to not hold back a 1080?

thoughts and concerns? will make a build log if people want me to :)

unless you wanna play 4k, you should get something like rx 480 for 1080p (or 1070 for 2k)

1.- just get the cheapest 1080 (but never get the founders edition) since the only difference are their speeds and its about 100mhz more or less, which it wont affect your gameplay experience

2.- you can get used 3770k and with an oc, your  cpu wont bottleneck your gpu

depending on which games is he going to play... If its gpu bound, the cpu upgrade would be a waste

Remember to quote me (or someone else), otherwise we won't going to recieve your answers...

I'd say no, unless your heart set on playing in 4k, since a 1070 can do 1440p easily.
