Situation is this:

My main Kingston DataTraveller 100 G3 16Gb USB3 got corrupted and is asking for format now. I got everything I wanted out from it and have image as backup if I need something more. Now, I don't feel comfortable using stick again as main USB. I have another 16gig USB3 DataTraveller 111 which I can swich to. But am I being paranoid about corrupted stick being more vulnerable to further issues to be using it as main one? To note, it doesn't have any physical damage, I just put Win10 into sleep mode apparently in the middle of data write process.

I have a SanDisk pendrive that got corrupted because it had a windows .ISO being loaded on a new laptop that shut down all of sudden in the middle of process, windows could still recognize it but whenever I tried formatting it just errors and is unusable... had no way around it had to throw away.

I've had my Kingston C3 64GB corrupted almost 3 months ago, reformatted it and have been using it ever since without issues.

Odd, I've done that before and it was a easy fix. I don't think you needed to throw it away xD

For some reason it simply wouldn't allow me to do anything, despite Windows still recognizing it Explorer didn't allow me to go in nor formatting would work... wasn't that big of a loss... just a 2.0 16gb pen drive...

Doesn't answer your question but I've been through 3 of those model flash drives. Absolute shite

I've been using Kingston drives since my first 256Mb one. I've had 256Mb, 4gb, 8gb, the said 2x16gbs. Plus one PNY 16gb USB2 and Sandisk 32Gb USB2 (which I only got because it was dirt cheap at €8). From all of those only 100 G3 has been corrupted. 256Mb and 4gb did got some physical damage from which latter didn't recover. PNY stick has too some physical damage because of plastic connector. I guess I've been lucky.

I've had worse luck with Kingston SD cards.

I would throw it out. Corruption generally occurs when your cells are failing to maintain charge. You're playing Russian roulette, knowing you'll lose. Toss it and get something else.

I've always had luck with SanDisk and Kingston, and generally use PNY for my flash devices.
