Hi guys , my i7-6700k doesn't run as smoothly as i wanted and i was checking some thing and i found this in device manager (picture below ) , the driver is from 2009 , but i just updated the mobo's chipset from the msi website , these cpu drivers can be updated as well ? if so , how do i do it ? thank you.....

CPU drivers aren't a thing.

It's just a way for the OS to communicate with a generic CPU, no need to update, and there isn't even an update available, because CPU drivers don't really exist.

 

What's the problem with the 6700K?

Your performance issues might be the result of some background app or program that is causing issues. I would check to make sure there is nothing else using up unnecessary amount of resources.
