hello greetings from greece :) 
i want to record good quality videos using OBS but i cant find the right adjustments for my pc :/ 

my specs are :

CPU : AMD FX - 6100 Black edition - 6 cores - 3.30 Ghz
GPU : MSI R9 390 8G
RAM : 10Gb 
 

help a poor guy and share your knowledge plz :ph34r:

Encoding video with CPU takes a lot of power to do. Even on very powerful workstations, encoding video can take lots of CPU. Your CPU is older, and was mid range when it came out. I expect you will end up using most of your CPU's power on encoding, leaving the game you are playing with little to none. It also appears you do not have any devices capable of offloading the encoding, so you would have to use cpu encoding.

Gpu encoding would solve this problem and the gpu supports it.

well i m not aiming for 1080p 60 fps obviusly :D i made a good recording of a game i play but the output file is 2Gb :/ i have plenty of storage internal and external and i use an external drive to save the recordings ... thank you for the info i ll try the GPU encoding and i m going to upgrade my cpu ^_^
