Microphone recording low voice?

4klips

My computer mic is recording very low voice. But, actually I am speaking loud and clear.

So, how can I fix this by tweaking any settings or anything else? Please help.

your mic may not be connected properly, plug in into the rear or front panels.

I am using this mic

http://www.amazon.in/iball-Rocky-Headset-Over-Ear-Headphone/dp/B006526G50/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1491395801&sr=8-1&keywords=iball+Rocky+Headset+Over-Ear+Headphone+with+Mic

The problem is solved.

I changed the format from 44100 Hz to 48000 Hz and increased microphone boost from 0dB to 10dB.

Now its loud enough to be heard clearly.??

It's likely that boost is going to cause white noise, so if it is - you can look into two alternatives.

First, Equalizer APO (and the graphical front end named Peace) may allow you to get a better fine tuning of the boost you need. The lower the boost that is still clear the better, typically.

Second, a USB dongle like a Sabrent USB stick or Syba USB stick will likely provide more power to the mic, thus decreasing the need for boost. It also helps filter EMI. They'll cost you 6-10 USD.

Of course if you are not hearing white noise don't fix what ain't broke :D
