So, apparently Bethesda has bought a new domain called "The survivor 2299" with a countdown clock. Is this a hint towards a reveal of a new game in the Fallout series? Please post your thoughts.

My thoughts: The Url "thesurvivor2299" is a hint to the survivor in Fallout, and since Fallout 3 is played in 2277 while Fallout New Vegas plays out in 2281, a new game placed 18 years later might not be too far fetched.

Edit: Might remove this to post it in a more suitable section of the forum. Can't figure out how to remove it yet though, be patient. (If any mods could move it, It would be appreciated.)

It's means 11.12.13, basically the 11th December this year. It's also the date the clock counts down to.

Some people said they saw Gaben's son [Todd Howard] scouting out locations near Boston. This is deeply I twined to Fallout lore, being inside the Commonwealth, close to DC, close to the Pitt, and close To Point Lookout, as well this would make it easy for a Canadian DLC.

Welp, that wasn't nearly as exciting as I wanted it to be :(

This should go in the pc section, but thank you so much for sharing this. I'm going to try to decode the Morse code :D (Finally the Morse-codding my grandfather taught me will come in handy!)

FalloutNew Vegas takes place in 2281 (From the wiki) so I can soooo see this being Fallout 4 (2299) which is only a few years later.

They usually have used the VGA's for showing off games, weird.

Well, the VGA's are usually held in December? Might just be something from Bethesda there.

As stated above, more is for the 11th December. Domain is under ZeniMax Media, the conglomerate that owns bethesda.

There is a JavaScript file on the website called fallout.js

The year is plausible.

The .mp3 on the website is called Bridgeport.mp3, a place in connecticut. Could be set there, however the date format suggests in commonwealth (Please be post-apocalyptic London)

I want Fallout New Denver.

I really think out area could work well, we have lots of government/military stuff around, tons of mountains and varied terrain plus lots of hots springs, including the cities, Colorado Springs, Steamboat Springs, Pagosa Springs, Glenwood Springs, Idaho Springs,  and Hot Sulpher Springs and those just the cities with springs in the name.  Doing something with geothermal energy could be really cool.

There is currently a reddit discussion about this here.

Basically, they point out why would a US company have a domain registered to Poland, use the European date format and registered to GoDaddy, not corporatedomains which they usaully use.

I mean would bethesda really leave a "fallout.css" in the page source?

Don't get me wrong, I'd love this to be true.

Just I don't want to get my hopes up and have it be a huge prank. I'm holding of being excited until the VGAs and I can read on an official website its been announced...

Didn't Skyrim come out on 11.11.11?

So 11.12.13 is another pattern.

It Has got to be a new game

Check this out aswell Fallout 4 clues abound on thesurvivor2299.com | IncGamers.com

Yeah because Fallout New Vegas was 10 years before, so it has to either be Fallout 4 or another Fallout title.

Personally I don't care if its Fallout 4 or not (as long as its another fallout title) The Bethesda fallout series is the best!

To continue from that... one of the posts in that link from incgamer.com

Also within the Script is:

/radio/bridgeport-5284ec0d1b93c.mp3

/radio/fall-river-6191da7f11n.mp3

Being from New England, Bridgeport,CT and Fall River, MA are both in my neck of the woods which is where the next Fallout 4 has been speculated to take place. Could the radio stations in Fallout 4 be located in these towns? Possibly.

Although I did find it out on my own, I did not find it first, someone on reddit beat me to the punch! Blast!

I kind of doubt they would make a Canadian DLC when they have New Jersey, New York and Philly right next to Boston, but weirder things have happened.
