21.5 inch vs 23 inch monitor?

greensauce

What's the best deal between these 21.5 inch and 23 inch LG monitor, if the 21.5 inch is 40 bucks cheaper than the 23 inch?

P.s. this is the first monitor I'm gonna have, maybe adding more in the future

I'm literally using a 21.5" and 23" monitor side by side hahaha. I would go for the 23".

all I can say is that you're gonna be staring at it a awful lot, so your eyes will probably thank you for the extra inch and a half in the long run

You should consider that a monitor purchase is usually something you don't do as often as other hardware purchases. I personally have had my 24" 1080p display for at least 6 years and then I bought a new one. So buy something decent now and keep it for a while. After all, no matter how great your pc is, you can only enjoy what your monitor is capable of delivering in terms of experience to you.

Get at least a 23" 1080p and please consider an IPS display.

Another question about your post:

Why do you want to add more monitors? Productivity or gaming?
