Hi,

not often I post here, I'm usually one of the guys giving advice. Anyway here goes, I have an EK supremacy EVO currently cooling an i7 4790k. I looked at the EK site, and it gives some vague instructions that basically say if your block has X holes you're good to go for AM4, however it isn't very clear to me as I have never water cooled on AMD. I have a separate bracket and backplate that came with my block which looks like this:

It looks a LOT like the image that EK provide, but can't see how I can have a compatible bracket/backplate as I bought it 2 years ago.

Anyone here that has put a Ryzen on water with a supremacy that can clear this up?

Ye that will be my next option, be handy if I could get a quick answer from someone experienced here rather than wait 24 - 48 hours for a response from them before I order - it seems the backplate are exclusively available from EK which sucks with reference to shipping times

This is the image they are referring to the mounting holes are elongated slots, which does not look to be the case in the photos:

Am 4 takes the wider mounting points (blue) where the old AM 3 uses the green, the plate you have doesn't have the angled slots.

If you contact EKWB it's part itself is free of charge, all you need to do it pay shipping from what I've heard.
