I was just about to post this, just like if cross fire or sli different speed GPU's... Also there is still a chance they won't work together anyways. Like what someone said above me as well.

you can in theory as by default ram runs at 2133 mhz assuming your using DDR4. There is also a probable degree that the different sticks will not work with each other as well. Its almost like playing Russian Roulette.
