Best budget PSU?

So I was looking around for a PSU.

Since I'm planning to build a new PC and I found this:

Now according to the PSU Tier list this should be the best PSU you could get for that money.

I don't have very much experience with psu's but if it's on the tier list as one of the better ones for the money, it should work fine.

For the price, it isn't bad for an old budget unit. Personally, at that price point, unless I need a 620w (although, I wouldn't be getting a budget unit if I needed 600+ PSU anyways), I would personally get a lower wattage, more modern design like the Corsair CX450M / 550M. Especially considering how it sometimes has a MIR that effectively lowers it to around $30-40

Yes. If you want a PSU with a better circuit design, get Corsair CX-M grey.

The Seasonic S12II has an old group regulated design. Still it's a good PSU.
