well.. since those two are pretty much the same IPC (well, not pretty much, they *are*) it's a matter of dividing price by clock speed, and that's your performance per dollar comparison :D

6500 is probably better compared to the price.  That being said, you might consider waiting for Ryzen R5's since you're going to have to change your motherboard anyway.
