I5 Better choice

I am choosing a better processor. I am having trouble choosing between the i5 6500 or the i5 7500. which gives you the best bang for your buck.

well.. since those two are pretty much the same IPC (well, not pretty much, they *are*) it's a matter of dividing price by clock speed, and that's your performance per dollar comparison

I said this before, and I will say it again. If you're aiming at the i5 Market and do any editing, streaming, etc, Wait for the R5s.

Why would you settle for less?

6500 is probably better compared to the price.  That being said, you might consider waiting for Ryzen R5's since you're going to have to change your motherboard anyway.
