Thanks for the quick response. I'll see what other people say as well, just for more clarification. Thanks!!!

Will you be adding a gpu to the build? If so which one? Do you have a budget or specific psu in mind

I already have an aerocool 500w PSU and also a GTX 1050ti 4GB from Gigabyte, sorry forgot to mention that

Which psu exactly? It might not be the best quality and you might want to consider upgrading it.

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

Would it work with a 1050ti as well? so overall 8gb ddr4 ram i7 6700k and a 1050ti?

Yeah, that would be fine. Skylake and Pascal are both pretty efficient when it comes to power draw.

Cheers bro, im planning on playing arma 3 a lot, a i5 4460 is shocking

ARMA 3 is a huge CPU hog, it eats CPU cycles for breakfast. Going from the 4460 to a 6700K will see a nice boost in performance for you.
