Get another 8 GB stick, or 2 4GB sticks?

I have one 8GB stick and want to upgrade to 16GB but the 8GB stick is more expensive than the 2 4GB sticks. Both of them are the same brand, voltage and speed but the 2 4GB sticks costs less than another 8.
