Monitor wear down

I saw a used mg249q for 400$ online. It is a year-old but doesnt have any major bleed or ips glow. Im not sure if I should pull the plug on it. How much do monitors wear out usually and is it worth it to buy displays used?

I haven't seen a single monitor "die" yet.

So unless the owner of that monitor removes the cables on the monitor frequently which might cause connector wear everything should be good.

I dont think it would die either but it might get worse colours than a new one

Displays might get dimmer over time, but things like colour going bad is basically not noticeable even if it is present.
