Yes. But you can't control and sync the rgb with other components like case fans and rgb strips.

In my experience RGB RAM does not allow you to post any system at all, then you have to fill out RMA forms.

G.Skills RGB RAM software is still in beta and is very unreliable. With Asus Aura boards, the RAM can be controlled and syncronised through that. With other vendor boards, having RGB control can cause issues. Gigabyte fusion, or NZXT Cam etc can cause crashes if multiple RGB applications are running. As long as the chipset is supported, it is probably safer to run RGB ram on a non-RGB motherboard.

that sounds more like a DOA or serious glitch of sorts, than a "does not allow post at all"

RGB ram is VERY finnicky as a whole, but it *shouldnt* cause any of the issues you described.

that said, i'm an old man, and my opinion remains to keep RGB off of any of the components that are supposed to do work, and if you insist just slap some RGB strip in the case after the fact.

I have never seen any RAM issues like it. I would call it an isolated case, but damn that was crap memory.

Fortunately I only had to deal with the RAM being DOA, and didn't have to experience all the woes that were discussed in the G.Skill forums.

I also would strongly recommend keeping RGB off critical components.
