So, my brother had a case that was dust magnet/heat box so i thought to make him a good looking case out of a 10-15 years old case we had laying around. After some cutting, drilling, scraping, painting, making mistakes, doing a lot of things wrong i got something that looks nice and quiet, but i still have some work to do and need some help.

1. I can touch back and top ( in this case bottom) side of psu  that has a fan, and it is as cold as i would expect but i can't touch the side that has the components on it. I made psu sit on the bottom and take air from under the case, through big hole and some mesh and i'm wondering since it sits on top of a desk is it enough to cool itself?

2.Biggest question: I have 3 case fans and they are taken from some old psus. They have only 2 wires and are connected to molex 5v, but all 3 are not the same speed. As they are mounted now, fastest is in the back(exhaust), 2 in the front(intakes) but there is negative pressure in the case and air is coming back in through the pci slots and around the back side cracks. Since i am yet to add some intake filter(most likely pantyhose(or whatever they are called, sorry, english is not my first language)) i am afraid that it will make even bigger negative pressure, i am thinking of taking the strongest and 2nd strongest fan as intakes in the front and putting the slowest in the back making some positive pressure. I am wondering what are the cases in which hot air is trapped in the case so i can avoid that?

3. Since this is ultra low budget mod i was thinking of using pantyhose(try-on socks, women socks what ever they are called) over intake fans as dust filters. Are they any good, how much they obstruct air flow and is there better as cheap solution?

This is the case in question that i'm talking about, note that there is clear plexiglass in front of intake fans that is yet to be painted or something.

1. The PSU should be fine with at least 1/2" of space at the bottom to intake air.

2. Having the stronger fans as intakes should be fine.

3 I think filters like that would help but I don't know that the improvement makes them necessary.
