Please Help!

Hi, I recently reinstalled windows. Before this my Asus Xonar Phoebus worked perfect. but after i reinstalled windows and installed the drivers again the left side of headset doesnt work. I already tried new headset, reinstalling drivers, looked around on settings. Cant find a solution. Please help!

Shocking, ANOTHER sound card problem thread.

 

You probably have a bad sound card.

show me your windows sound properties under the playback tab and show me the xonar's headphone out properties.  I want to make sure it didn't do something silly like turn the left channel down to 0%...

I already checked that too and its how its supposed to be, Maybe its some deep down setting that changed dring the Windows Reinstall?

what's it say under the advanced tab?  sometimes the default is mono 16/44.1 for whatever reason. 

 

Are you using that control pod or the back ports directly?

used a control pod and directly into the sound card, doesnt make a difference, And under the advanced tab it was set to 2 channel

Have you used the headset on another device, or a different pair of headphones on the soundcard?

yeah, used a couple of earphones and headsets, same thing happens,. which means its the problem with the computer

nvm, my suggestion won't work as the soundcard is not supported by the unified drivers
