Im building a new pc and I would like to know if the Ryzen launch affected CPUs prices. (USA)

Im instrested in buying an I5-7600k

Depends on your country. For example the i7 7700k even went up ~10 € here in Germany. I can not see any major price drops so far.

I'm assuming that's the i7 one.. if so, then don't even bother waiting for price drops. It's not happening, sorry, Ryzen ain't competing on the same market as the Sky/Laby i7s.

Given that the 6600k makes little sense (all things considered), I'd say he meant the 6700k.
