For that kinda budget you could get something like Adam A3X or some Elac AM 150 which would sound 1000x better then any Logitech, Corsair or Creative crap, but they might not fullfill your demand for too much bass ...

For the price they are pretty damn good

 

No they're not. I picked up a pair of studio monitors (Audioengine A2's) and a sub woofer for only $50 more than what they are asking. A klipsch promedia 2.1 is roughly the same thing, and costs less than $100.

Stop recommending those stupid speakers. They're all terrible.

 

OP, you need to buy some studio monitors and a separate subwoofer.

Thank god for that.. Thought you'd know something about speakers :)
