You have to get the card off nvidia's website or participating stores to get them, there should be a card in the box to indicate that. Otherwise probably means that the card that he bought is not part of the promotion.

Hi my friend bought a gtx 1080 and he dident get a coupon for the promotion is there any way he can still get the game?
