so im starubg to overclock for the first time. im using RVGA precision X. My question is will i be able to run Unigine heven and as it runs slowly increase the GPU clock offset up by 25 every 5 to 10 min until it crashes? the by 5 until crash then 1 and stop? or shold i close the benchmark apply changes and lunch the benchmark? i also maxed the voltage and made the temp target priority 92C

Yep, that's how I overclock. I usually go to 100MHz and just go by 10Mhz steps) When you start to overclock the VRAM, keep a eye out for texture / screen glitches. You should see random spots of color (For me, it's random red shapes flashing) if the memory overclock (maybe the core clock too) isn't stable.

 

Hopefully you can break the 2.1GHz barrier.

 

Oh, also see if there's a BIOS update for the GPU. My MSI 1070 has a few and it did boost VRAM overclocking stability for me.
