should i get this https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814126135 or an 8gb one for 220 i plan on using it with ryzen 5 with 2 monitors

I also think that 8GB will be a better option, as because of the open world games you're into, it'll need more data stored in VRAM for quick access, thus providing you more fps.

4GB nowadays becomes the minimum requirement in order to play at high settings smoothly, some games even exceed 4GB when set graphics settings to ultra at 1080p.

 

So, 8GB.

I have been seeing a lot of problems from owners of the Asus dual 480 so I have a hard time recommending it. Which 480 goes for 220?

That's also a terrible card. I would look at getting a 470. How much is the MSI armor 480?

The gaming had a better cooler. If I had to guess, I'd say it had better PCB components too which help with overclocking.
