I'd also factor in a fire extinguisher in your final price.

A Seasonic M12ii, or Corsair CXM (Grey) would work fine, and isn't pricey

This would be better, considering the 1 you linked is Tier 7, unless you wish to start some fires, and damage your system.

thing is, this PC will legit be turned on once or twice a year.

thats why im thinking of something like this, just good enough to power it for like 2 or 3 hours then done. though this doesnt have a 6 pin power connector.

Cost of Fire Extinguisher ~$41 on sale on Amazon

Budget PSU ~$20

Seasonic M12ii (Tier 3 PSU) - $54.90 ($44.90 w/ rebate)\

Not burning your house down, since generic, no name PSU's could harm systems - Priceless

For everything else there is Mastercard.

yeah at least it's a lil more reliable since it's seasonic

Wouldn't it make more sense to spend the extra $17 ($7 after the mail-in rebate) and get the Seasonic M12ii?

Fair point, Dexxter's PSU he linked is a Tier 4, and based on your usage, should do the trick

Yeah fair enough, Ik PSu's you don't want to cheap-out on too hard, but Tier 4 should be a fine PSU, since your not using it constantly. Tier 3 I guess is more meant for everyday usage or more frequently used systems. Best of Luck w/ the build.
