Long story short, my new build has suddenly started to give Electric shock when I touch the metal part of it. It wasn't like that before. How should I check what's wrong with it?

Are all the standoffs in place for the motherboard? definitely something shorting.

Yeah everything was working fine until a few hours ago. Something went wrong, and I don't know why. I guess i'll take everything apart and assemble again.

I think a few hours mean "a few hours" on any part of our planet, unless you're travelling with Matthew McConaughey on the Endurance.

When did you build it. How long was it fine before it started shocking you. That's why I included the "until" in the quote

Built it yesterday, maybe 20 or 21 hours ago. And it started giving those shocks from three or four hours ago.

Then yeah, I would check your stand offs. If you're really unlucky you may have gotten a big piece of fuzz behind the MOBO and that is shorting it also. Would try to do that sooner so you don't break anything with electricity

So, just take it off and put it back again?

Your best bet. One of the stand offs might be crooked also. Clean the back of the MOBO make sure there's nothing there then make sure you get all the stand offs good and try again

I have removed all the stand offs and connected the MOBO to PSU, and used a tester on the metal part of the Case, it's still giving shocks. So, the only way this is happening would be between MOBO and Case contact. Is there something I can place between MOBO and the Case something like a thin sheet?
