Thank you. Sorry. Im a little extra salty today, its not you'r fault. What will you be using for you display? For 1080p gaming, a 400 USD GTX 1070 is overkill. And an i5 would be a good pair for anything less than a 1070 for just gaming. So it all depends on what you want the computer to do.

I have 2 1080p monitor and will stick to that right now and will do very intense gaming and video rendering

I assume you will only be gaming on one of the displays. If you can spend all your budget, it may be worth while to look into a display upgrade too.

So you have about $1000 USD to spend if I understand correctly?

$550 GTX 1080 leaves you with 450 for CPU. For worth while cpu upgrade, you will need a new motherboard. Its your choice, but ryzen may make a lot of sense here. I suggest you compare the ryzen options and get the $350ish ryzen CPU with a new AM4 motherboard.

With the budget you mentioned above, probably not alot. Your budget was about 1200 USD and we have already spent 1000 on a new Ryzen CPU/Mobo and gtx 1080.

Personally, I have a triple 1080p 60hz monitor setup for gaming and editing. So you need to decide on personal preference and functionality.

You could get three new identical 24inch 1080p 60hz monitors for 130 USD each at bare minimum. Or instead get one this for the same price as three lesser displays.

But A better choice for you're exact situation would be to try and find another of one of the monitors you already have for a tripple monitor setup. This will enable even more productivity, and give a great gaming experience in some games that work well across all three displays. And personally I love that middle ground. But If you don't like the surround feel, and you would rather have one, higher resoloution display, then the AOC I mentioned above is great but will cost more. So Its really up to you and how much you have to spend.

I hope I didn't write too much.

It all depends on what you wan't. Resolution, color accuracy, size, refresh rate, image quality, budget, appearance, mount-ability, design, available ports, how many you need, ect.
