Posted March 21, 2017 Hi! I just saw the video where Linus simulated RYZEN 3 and 5. I have had a plan for some month that i was going to build a new UNRAID pc for at least 1 gaming and 1 linux for daily use setup. I was already set on a Intel CPU since those tend to work better on Linux (and unraid) but now when i have seen how cheap the RYZEN cpus are going to be i was wondering if you guys could test the simulated RYZEN cpus in a UNRAID enviroment? Or if someone else on this forum is lucky enoth to already own a RYZEN cpu and could do this, or at least speculate how it would compare to the latest intel cpus. Posted March 21, 2017 Level1Tech tried it I think and found that video cards are on the same node, forgot how it's called exactly Ryzen and passthrough GPUs right now is a no go Link to comment https://linustechtips.com/topic/755419-testing-unraid-with-amd-ryzen/#findComment-9552999 Share on other sites
 Posted March 21, 2017 I would wait it out a few month, as support won't come straight away release. The best bet is stay peeled on the fourms/youtube and unraid blog/change logs. Magical Pineapples
