You would be best off waiting for the Ryzen R5 series. The 6 cores will be good streaming CPUs for a price that could fit in that budget

Ryzen is much better for a budget streaming computer.

I dont recommend AMD for streaming

H.264 conversion and per core performance isnt as strong as Intel, and both are key for streaming

We are talking about a budget build though and not what is the best with unlimited money (maybe 600-800$+ is enough).

Also Ryzen's single core performance is a lot better than the FX series which I guess you are basing your comment on.

People seem to miss that Ryzen is within a couple percent of Broadwell
