Need some advice

After a long time of waiting for the 1080ti, i'm finally building an entire system myself which will replace my old system.

I want to ask you if you would change any components or other things. Thanks in advance.

(Mind, i'm from Switzerland and have no access to amazon or newegg).

 

Here's my list:

 

CPU: 7700k

CPU cooling: NZXT Kraken X62

GPU: Asus GTX 1080 Ti Strix 011G

Mobo: Asus Strix Z270E Gaming

Ram: Corsair Dominator Platinum 4x8GB DDR4-3000

SSD: Samsung 960 PRO 1000GB M.2

HDD: 2x WD Purple 2TB

Power: Seasonic Prime 850W (850W for a second Ti in the future, just in case)

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolve ATX tempered Glass edition

Monitor: ASUS ROG Swift PG27AQ 27'' 4k

 

i'll use this system manly to play games.

everything looks good to me. cant think of one thing that i could think of changing that wouldn't be just my preference. now the real question is what 1080ti are you getting?

looks good, but the WD purples are for CCTVs, not regular rigs. i'd stick to just their blues, reds and blacks. also you really need 1tb of ssd storage? and the ram sems really overkill, 16gb should be enough.

i do like the strix look but have you seen the new evga icx design? i mean it looks pretty clean.

Those WD purples might not suit you well as they are designed for being written to 24/7. Situations in a normal system with lots of spinning up and down might be a killer for these drives.
