Hi. I'm building my PC today and I was just looking up my parts. I had a look at my PSU, the EVGA NEX 750B and it has some bad reviews, like really bad. I have a 4790 non k and R9 Fury X. Will this PSU do it's job for a years? They're expensive parts so I want to careful, TIA

I've already bought the PSU

:| That's not the point. I already have it, will it last for a few years?

The website I bought it from gave it 4.5 star out of 5 rating and my friend was having issues with his corsair psu which he had recently bought

EVGA made some meh-bleh PSUs- that unit is one of them. Corsair has also made some bleh units- which I bet one of which is your fiends power supply. Corsair's cxm (grey label) are decent and would power that system. 650w should be fine. There are also some units from seasonic I would check out.

It's fine, just cancel your order if you can.

The NEX-B just has poor voltage regulation for the price when other, far superior EVGA units are available for the same-ish amount of money, such as the EVGA B2/GQ/G3 and so on.

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

That's odd. My friend bought a CXM 650w unit. However the customer support was excellent as he was given a free upgrade to a CXM 750w within a week of returning it. I built part of my PC yesterday and I'm baffled as to where the PSU goes. I have a Phanteks P400s TG and it has a PSU shroud. It looks great but I'm having issues with accessing it. Any help anyone. Also don't worry I'll post this question seperately later. TIA

My bad. I guess I should do some more research before buying PSUs in future. But I'll live with this for now.Let's hope it doesn't Note 7 itself xD
