Z170 Motherboard with 2 USB 3.0 headers

Go to solution Solved by NumLock21,

They should all have 2 USB 3.0 headers.

Hi,

I'm looking for a Z170 motherboard that has 2 USB 3.0 headers. Preferably from ASUS or MSI. Any recommendations would be great. I'd like it to stay under $160 if possible.

Thanks.

Thanks. I was looking at the wrong sections on the mobos page. You've saved me a lot of time looking for a new mobo!

Are there any benefits if I'm using a 6th gen processor?

No benefits with a 6th gen, but you do get benefits on 7th gen processor and other features like Optane and more PCIe lanes. Some say Optane is only on 7th gen, not to sure about that.

I'll look into it, thanks.

Do you have cpu yet? No, then go with 7th Gen Kaby Lake with a Z270.
