Motherboard Help

I need help choosing a motherboard. I've been looking for hours and can't seem to find anything quite right. Any recommendations would be appreciated. I'm getting an i-5 6600k and an ASUS GTX 1070 8GB. I going to have 16GB of RAM and don't plan on upgrading in the future. An Asus board would be preferred but MSI or Gigabyte. My theme is the basic red/black so either a red/black or just black mobo would be preferred. The overall budget for the PC is $1500

the msi M5 would fit your color scheme.

I'm a bit confused as to why you wouldnt get a mis gaming x if you wanted to go for a red and black build.

Oh, sorry. I was looking at smomething else. On pc part picker It's cheaper but on mindfactory it's pretty much the same

yeah i just thought you might want to get the gaming x if you were going with a red and black build.

I'll probably wait till one of them is on sale and get it. My pushing my budget either way so just whichever one is cheapest. I just said the Asus because of the better cooling and RGB so the color doesn't matter

they have very similar cooling. i wouldn't outright say one really has better cooling than the other.

even my suggestion fits in color scheme and is also 30$ less.
