How do you do a clean install on old discs?

rogueone

Have this old puter that my little bro uses. I'm just wondering about how to clean it up and start from scratch?

It has a samsung ssd as a boot drive.....and a hard disc too. I know you can reformat the hard drive. What about the SSD? From memory it has an erase function on the software....is that the easy way of doing it....then install through usual channels?

Just curious. Your expertise is appreciated!

You don't have to do anything different, just a quick format.  Samsung Magician won't do anything special.

Why format? When you install windows you can simply delete the old partition and create a new one.

Does you mum know you're here?

Which is essentially a quick format.  Either works fine.
