I have removed RAM multiple times.. This time I am using the asus z270 h motherboard and some corsair lpx memory, I lined the notches and pressed firmly on both sides until the click... I put them in the wrong slots and I tried to push the one tab on each slot and the one side would pop up, but the side without the clip wont move a bit. Did I do something wrong? It will not come out when I push with all the force I am willing to put on my motherboard after pushing the tab.. Advice?

once it's unclipped just pull them out.

What do you mean put them in the wrong slots? Any RAM module can go in any RAM slot so long as they're the same type (e.g. DDR3)

Sure, but that doesn't mean the RAM cannot fit into the other slots without problems. They're perfectly compatible. That is just showing where to place it to make sure that you are running in dual-channel.

Be sure to lift on both sides equally. Was it correctly seated? Can you send photos?

Is it a dual clip system? If so firmly press down on each side and firmly and evenly pull up. If it is a one clip system, pull firmly on the side with one clip until it lifts clear of the socket, then pull away from the socket horizontally.

usually there color coded 2 with diferent color than the other slots. put them into different colored slots.

for me its 1 or 2 for the one and 3rd or 4th for the other

so they can run dual channel

Yeah that's what I mean when I say I put them in the wrong slots, they aren't colored differently and I wasn't thinking about it when putting them in because I figured "hey I can just remove it and put it back properly"

you inserted the ram backwords what i say is for optima performance to be able to run dual channel

if you inserted them wrong you would just lose performance nothing else. and you could easily just change slot and the would be fine
