Something I have observed, not sure if others are or not. I have the enthoo Evolv ATX non Tempered Glass. I run 2 GTX 1070's in SLI with a Cyrorig R1 Ultimate for my CPU cooler. Yesterday I was playing many hours of Witcher 3 and saw my CPU temps sitting in the high 70's low 80s at times. Today, doing similar, many hours of Witcher 3, I took off the front panel cover and left the dust filter on. CPU temps have barely gotten above 60c...

 

Is the front panel really restricting air flow that much??

Probably, it's not exactly "super air flow friendly" but then again most new cases these days aernt.

I just got my Tempered glass last week and yes, the front panel does restrict airflow that much when I've done heaven testing with my 1080 with the panel on and off, and even the dust grill restricts it somewhat.

This had been discussed at length in other forums and the cheapest and simplest mod is to add spacers to the front panel hangers to make it come out more to allow more air like this

A more extreme and expensive one is to buy a custom front panel from MNPCTECH
